I am currently working on my puppet making skills. I decided to create a puppet version of myself. I really enjoyed the process of making her and I have learnt loads of new skills. Looking forward to making more in the future. I hope you love her as much as I do!
A Snowy Surprise
Here are the puppets from my short film 'A Snowy Surprise' which you can watch on the Stop-Motion > Animation tab. This was my first time making fully animatable puppets. I learnt most techniques from YouTube as well as a few basic puppet-making courses.
I made the puppets much too small which I realised once I started animating but they held out and I managed to produce something I am very proud of.
Character Study
This was my first ever puppet I made. It was based off a character study for a project. Techniques were all self taught with very basic understanding.
